Hello Fellow Noble Members!
This is a final reminder for the Stringbag Rally Flyin this coming weekend.
Saturday 10th June at 2100 UT/Zulu/GMT
There is still time for you to install the Tiger Moths from the Aircraft Resources on the Webpage, and also to download and install the latest version of JoinFS. I strongly suggest you do this before the event so that you do not encounter any problems at the start of the event.
You will also need to plan a simple route for the race, and identify a suitable airfield to refuel en route.
I look forward to flying with lots of you, and chatting on TeamSpeak.
Cheers
Roger

Re: Final Reminder for Stringbag Rally
We had a lot of fun last night on the Stringbag Rally. Amazingly no body ditched in the channel or flew into Tower Bridge or the Eiffel Tower, and we all landed safely at Le Pin.
Sadly only seven pilots took part, which was a little disappointing, two from the US and five from the UK. Nobody joined us from NZ or Australia. I did receive some very valid excuses, but that still leaves many pilots across the world not willing to participate.
I would appreciate any comments or suggestions, so we can try and plan for future events that you would like to join.

Re: Final Reminder for Stringbag Rally
Thank You Roger.
Good event, enjoyed this flyin. No auto pilot just pure VFR and stick use.
Taking time to actually see some scenery go by.
Was a shame only 7 of us turned up, shows how splintered Noble Air still is,
People Should make more effort, after all these event are organised for their pleasure.
Cant wait for the next one.

Re: Final Reminder for Stringbag Rally
Sorry I missed out guys. As most know I haven't gotten completely setup with FSX since I had to start over on the PC and found a Tiger Moth to download on Flightsim.com. But I had to things against me. I had the route planned and downloaded JoinFS, but wife was off work (so we go to church which was an hour after the start time). Had she had to work, I'd been able to join you. And I was getting some error when I started it up. Maybe cause if was FS9 and not FSX? Guess I'll do it on my own and report how a did. Maybe I'd have won?? hehe

Re: Final Reminder for Stringbag Rally
I don't think FSJoin is compatible with FS9.
