October Flyin - Hurricane Relief Flight - 7th October

Postby Roger Eve » Tue Sep 12, 2017 6:35 pm

Hi Guys,

The October flyin will take place at 2100 GMT/Zulu on 7th October and is a relief flight to ferry aid from Curacao to St Maarten following the devastation of Hurricane Irma. St Maarten is part of the Dutch Antilles, so we shall be aiding the Netherlands in their relief operations.

The flight time is approximately 1.5 hours. We will be flying any Cargo aircraft, the larger the better and fully loaded.

Please see the attached pdf document for all the details.

Come and join in the more the merrier.

Sure have David. I thank you for the idea. I do not know how many takers you had, and have just made it formal. As you hinted we have done similar flights to disaster areas in the past.
I hope you can join us.

Found a useful flight plan with 12 waypoints along the 488 mile route. Comes in several sim flavors, something for everyone. https://flightplandatabase.com/plan/79337
