Despite the charts for ZMDZ being listed as "Asphalt", I found less than asphalt when I got there! Not to mention the runway in FSX did not match the runway in the FMS! The low clouds coupled with the complete lack of instrument landing, or way points to mark the approach...or anything...made this very interesting. Despite that, the landing was great on the first try.

Well done Adam,
Sorry to have to duck out mid flight. My brother-in-law is now in AF with syncope and some chest pain, so he was admitted for cardiac investigations etc. My sister is in the middle of chemotherapy and is immunocompromised so I will need to be the hospital visitor and general dogs body.

I figured I would post a picture so you folks would know that you don't need to send out the search parties to scour the Mongolian countryside for the my plane's blackboxes.
No problem for ducking out at all, that is very understandable. I wish your family all the best!

Thanks Adam,
Family OK at present, but still waiting for results of investigations.
I am going to use V3's flight recovery option and see if I can complete the flight

When you do fly it, the runway in FSX is in fact 03/21 not 11/29 as we had in the Navigraph data.

Recovery successful and with calm conditions I had a straight in approach to 21. Landed safely albeit 17 hours late
